This is an excellent excuse to eat A LOT of birthday cake this year!

She is SOOOO you're first baby :) My 3rd kiddo had his 3rd birthday party 2 weeks ago, and I forgot to order cupcakes or a birthday cake for him until the day before the party - or actually the afternoon before the party!
You might want to rethink cake for every month though...you'll never lose the baby weight that way!!!
I love it!! I think every milestone should be celebrated with cake! (It WAS chocolate, wasn't it?)
Any excuse for cake is a good excuse, especially if it is a cute excuse.

Cake features prominently in most of my domestic fantasies. There's always room for cake.
